“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20).
Our God calls us to use our lives to bear witness to his salvation in word and deed. As his followers we fulfill this call individually and as a church body. These are some ways we seek to fulfill the Great Commission together as a church:
Community Events
We host a variety of community events over the course of the year to serve and show the love of Christ to our neighbors. Some of these events include our Easter Egg Hunt, Fall Festival, Block Parties, Backyard Bible Club for Kids, and our Annual Live Nativity at Christmas. Our hope is that the Lord would use these events (and others like them) to build bridges into FPC for our neighbors, particularly those who do not yet know Christ and/or do not activity participate in the life of some local church.

Sending
Ryan Dean was the lead pastor of FPC from 2016 to 2023. In 2023, FPC had the privilege of sending Ryan and his family to serve as lead pastor at College Hill Presbyterian Church in Oxford, MS.
Supported Ministries
We use a portion of the gifts given to support FPC to financially partner with a number of ministries and missionaries local, regional, and global. In worship each week, we pray by name for one of our Supported Ministries. We have designated the first Sunday in February as “Missions Emphasis Sunday.” On this special Sunday we hear ministry reports from many of our Supported Ministries and are exhorted in the Lord’s call to pray and labor to see the Gospel go out into all the world.
